- We make our handmade cold-process soaps from scratch in Chicago, Illinois using simple, wholesome ingredients that are good for your skin. Many ingredients that we use in our soaps are the same healthy ingredients you cook with everyday, like olive oil, oatmeal, honey, herbs, and spices. Read more about Our Ingredients.
- We start with lots of olive oil in our soaps because it is wonderfully moisturizing, rich in nutrients, and exceptionally gentle. Other natural vegetable oils like coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil all contribute unique qualities to the soap, helping to create a mild, high-quality bar that is long-lasting and has a rich, luxurious lather.
- Our soaps are enriched with nourishing extras, like rich shea butter and soothing oatmeal for their skin care benefits,and natural exfoliants, such as coffee grounds and cornmeal for texture and extra scrubbing power.
- We scent our handmade soaps with only natural essential oils, which are pure botanical oils pressed or distilled from flowers, leaves, herbs, citrus peels, and other fragrant plant material. The subtle colors of the soaps come from the natural ingredients themselves, along with dried herbs and spices.
